With over 14,000 acres, 600 miles of trails, and three stunning waterfalls, Letchworth State Park is a place of true natural beauty. In 1906, William Pryor Letchworth gifted his 1,000 acre estate to New York State so the land could be restored and enjoyed for years to come.

Mount Morris Dam & Visitor Center

Mount Morris Dam is located on the east side of Letchworth State Park and offers free tours of the working facility managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. The new visitor center shares information about the Dam’s history, the Genesee River, and additional hiking trails along the east side of the gorge.
